I have had a good day at work and spent the morning in 'growth monitoring training' in Ampthill. I caught up with computer, paperwork and phone calls this afternoon before finishing for almost two weeks as it is half term next week.
Charlie was polite today and appeared to make more of an effort with Harry this morning which was encouraging.
Graham is on his way back from the airport but it means we have missed the first cell group this year. We are finding it difficult to attend mid week meetings as Graham seems to be always away or working late on a Wednesday. Just had an email from Anne to say it is three years ago that they went to live in Canada. Life is flying by.
It has been a lovely sunny day today but it seems much colder this evening and I've just looked outside to see a layer of frost on the roof of the car. Charlie and his friends were convinced yesterday that a tornado hit Bedford in the afternoon. It certainly became very windy and we had a hailstorm and thunder and lightning. Charlie said he saw a large cloud spiral in the sky. I haven't heard anything on the news but perhaps it may be in the local papers this weekend.
